Cash Bar

Allows guests to purchase their own drinks from our beverage menu.

Bar Tab

Allows host to nominate the value of the tab & types of beverages their guests will be permitted to drink. Wristbands will be provided to all guests to enable our staff to distinguish them from the public. Once the nominated amount has been reached, or guests order beverages which are not permitted on the tab, a cash bar will be in place.

Tentative Bookings

Tentative bookings can be made at any time, however a 20% deposit must be paid at least one month prior to the date of the function, or if there is interest from any other persons for the same date.

Confirmation & Payment

Confirmation of final numbers & food & beverage packages are required along with the remaining balance one week prior to the function.

Cancellations

Should you need to cancel your function, we will endeavor to reschedule it on a date which best suits you & balsamic. If this is not possible your 20% deposit is non refundable.

Responsible Service of Alcohol

Balsamic practices Responsible Service of Alcohol. Subject to the provisions of the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 any person who is intoxicated, violent or quarrelsome will be refused service and asked to leave.

Guests who are underage are welcome to attend function in the lounge, provided they are accompanied by a parent/guardian for the duration of the function. Under no circumstances are underage guests permitted to consume alcohol. It is the both the host's & parent/guardians responsibility to enusre these conditions are adhered to.

Due to licensing conditions the service of alcohol must cease at 12:30am. The venue must be cleared by 1:00am

Entertainment

Live entertainment such as a DJ or band are not provied as part of the function package. We are happy for you to source your own entertainment but please note they will need to provide their own equipment. Any payment arrangements are between the two parties.

If you don't opt for a DJ or band, you can create a playlist on your own MP3 player and play it through the house sound system.

The lounge also has a plasma screen which can be used to display photo slide shows. Please burn a data disc containing only .jpeg or .bmp files. We request you test the slideshow at balsamic one week prior to your function to avoid disappointment on the night.
